2010 FOOTBALL SEASON

This season of football has been an extremely different but rewarding one.  For the last 3 years I have been the CRAZY wife in the stands, now I'm the CRAZY sister:) Nothing was more emotionally rewarding for me than watchin Trevyn break tackles, score touchdowns and then turn to look for my approval.  After many hours of game film with Weber State and late night showers where shampoo became a running back, conditioner became a full back, and razors became offensive linemen, etc.. etc.. I have a pretty good knowledge and appreciation for the game.  This year is my younger brother Brody's senior season, and my husbands first year of coaching high school football. To see the love and dedication Trevyn has for the game beat into Brody not only on the field but also every night at home has also been very emotionally rewarding for me.  I can't wait to see what Trev does with Reg!  Brody has excelled SO much this season he is so fun to watch him on the field not only because of his ability but also because of the heart we can all see and feel from the stands, a little something we like to call in our home "the magic" :)  In 2005 Trevyns senior season they beat Timpview high school and since then Springville has not won a game against them... until this year Brody's senior year.  It was a HUGE game and so fun to watch!  Trevyn will not be able to coach Brody into the state game if they make it that far which we are assuming they will.  We will be in China with Ryan routing Brody and the Devils on from across the world.
NOT IN MY HOUSE SON!!:)

This picture is especially memorable for Brody and the rest of the Springville Red Devils because pre-season this year during camp they lost one of their brothers.  Brandon Curtis #30 was in a fatal wreck with 3 other team-mates.  The rest of the team were first on the scene and with only a few players they were able to pick up a jeep and flip it onto it's tires.  Saving Zack Puckett, Brandon's very best friend who will continue out his senior season wearing the number 30.  The boys all suffered a severe loss but KNOW everytime they step foot on the field they've got the upper hand because there are always 12 of them and 11 on the opposing team.
